Wood Species Info.

Most of the lumber we use at Lighthouse Woodworking comes from logs harvested in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. We purchase some lumber, such as tiger maple, from other sources. The primary woods we work with and stock include walnut, cherry, ash, red and white oak, poplar, and maple. The info graphic here is intended as a guide for color and geographic growth zones for some of the major wood species.
